When we were presented with the opportunity to tell the origin story of the newest version of Disney’s cult classic High School Musical for Disney +, we literally broke out into song and dance (not quite as compelling as the talented casts of the new tv series though!).
Our approach to one of the premiere programs on the Disney + platform was to shoot new, original material that showcases the amazing talent of the new cast including a finale live performance of “We’re All In This Together” from their D23 reveal in Anaheim.
We also got truckloads of precious archival footage of Zac, Vanessa, Kenny, Ashley and the entire crew from the original High School Musical shoots which we mined to create never before seen intimate glimpses back in time before the cultural phenomenon took off. To say we loved our job is an understatement!
High School Musical: The Series: The Special features Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Kenny Ortega and many more!

The Digomind Team was honored and pleasantly surprised to find our work included in one of the Disneyland attractions for the High School Musical: The Series exclusive sneak peek! Very cool…now if we could help design a new roller coaster the bucket list would be nearly complete!
